It seems that instead, developers have been able to discuss ideas and work out disputes either on arch@ or through some other means. There is certainly nothing wrong with this as the FreeBSD Project certainly wants to encourage open development. Given the TRB's idleness, however, core@ feels that the TRB in its current state simply isn't needed. If the need arises once again in the future for resolution of technical disputes beyond the currently available tools (public mailing lists, etc.), then either the TRB can be reinstated or perhaps some new approach could be used dependent on core@'s judgement at that time. Finally, the core team thanks the current members of the TRB for the service they have rendered over the past 2.75 years.
