You should only know that at least for the X series, only disks with a height of 7mm will fit. You should also check the keyboard. The X220 has still the old style but the new X230 comes with these strange 'islands'. It is not as bad as I thought but I still prefer the old style keyboards. If you do not mind having only the pad, you could check the Fujitsu LifeBooks. They are good pieces of hardware but be real careful with the LCD. Erich
