Just to say that 2.2-STABLE seems just about perfect on my laptop.
Suspend/resume w/ a 3c589c works, and the card is now transfering at
600-900k per second !!!! Last time I tested I was getting 200-300k.
CD & sound card continue to work too.
Well done everyone that was involved :-)
