--0-337108917-1000211370=:29858 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii hi , in my first installation i only had the bin distribution for the minimal installation.then downloaded the other distributions then did custom install -> from dos partition.then i chose the distributions.i chose full sources + doc + xfree86 then i did commit.i dont know why xfree86 did not get installed(maybe there was a problem in my download).after it installed all the distributions ,it asked for any post installation settings and i said no.then i exited form the installation.but what happens now is that at the login prompt i write root and hit enter and it doesnt ask for my passwd.and for another user i had created it asks for my passwd but says incorrect login for my correct password. eagerly waiting for a reply. thanx rohit --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!?
