I recomend considering a seperate NIC in each server to be assigned a 10.whatever address and connected to the backup server. (kind of a SAN-lite) Not ideal, but what is? Please note: WE NOW HAVE TAPE DRIVES ON EVERY PRODUCTION SERVER! This is really the way to go. Croning out a backup through NFS works fine. But you WILL run out of tape space! pete > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message -- Pete Collins To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
