(Different question: when natd goes away, the gateway is "closed" but i'd have expected the "public connection" to continue working for httpd & sendmail. It doesn't seem to.) I have not observed anything which points to the cause. What steps can I take to figure out what's making natd fall down so that the problem can be fixed? Handholding will probably be necessary. thanks, craig To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-alpha" in the body of the message
