I am installing a new Seagate SCSI drive and disklabel is failing.

disklabel -e sd0
disklabel: ioctl DIOCGDINFO: Invalid argument

disklabel -r sd0
Bad pack magic number (label is damaged, or pack is unlabeled)

What is it telling me and what do I do next? I can't do a newfs
without a label can I?

TIA

cheers
