I am currently trying to get a Haupage Brooktree 878A card to work. However, it doesn't show up on dmesg, and pciconf -lv shows something different on the card despite the actual markings on the chip on the card itself. I posted to the current list first, as it seemed more pertinent. Doug White, upon gazing at my pciconf -lv output and boot -v messages, told me to follow up my posts here. I have tried multiple bios settings (which in theory don't matter), as well as rolling multiple kernels with multiple options.
