Sounds like a very different keymap. us.unix.kbd is intended to mimic the "traditional" layout of keyboards found in the unix world where the escape key is just above the tab key, the <- key generates DEL and the control key is immediately under the Tab key. I can't see any reason not to commit your keymap. What's the take of others on the list?
