After my last cvsup (april 23 2002) I wanted to update the ISO image of this cdrom by rebuilding kernel and world. After burning this new ISO image to cd and testing, I found that it failed to mount cd9660:acd0c. Manually typing cd9660:acd0 (without the "c") at the mountroot prompt did work, so I changed options ROOTDEVNAME=\"cd9660:acd0c\" to options ROOTDEVNAME=\"cd9660:acd0\" in de kernel configuration file. Problem solved, but I am curious as to why this syntax has changed and if it was documented somewhere. greetings Ruben de Groot To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
