Possible improvements that I can think of for now: a) Maybe tag the partition type with scheme names, e.g., instead of: ntfs A partition that contains a NTFS or exFAT filesystem. The scheme-specific type is "!= 7" for MBR. Do something like: ntfs [MBR only] A partition that contains a NTFS or exFAT filesystem. The scheme-specific=20 type is "!7" for MBR. or b) Make gpart(8) recognize the symbolic names in other schemes.
