The 'half bazillion ports' that seem to need imake actually have a library dependency on XFree86-{,4-}libraries; and the xlib port has a runtime dependency on imake because of the mkhtmlindex executable. Disclaimer: I don't know what mkhtmkindex does or why; this just serves to explain the world's dependence on imake, which puzzled me too at first :) G'luck, Peter --=20 Peter Pentchev roam@ringlet.net roam@sbnd.net roam@FreeBSD.org PGP key: http://people.FreeBSD.org/~roam/roam.key.asc Key fingerprint FDBA FD79 C26F 3C51 C95E DF9E ED18 B68D 1619 4553 "yields falsehood, when appended to its quotation." yields falsehood, when = appended to its quotation. --bg08WKrSYDhXBjb5 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE+cbGe7Ri2jRYZRVMRAnQlAKCQ1erB9QyDuqzhIyWbG3W6J89oZgCeNcqz 1Fb2uUg3YxTth7aw5I/Ian4= =SiCT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --bg08WKrSYDhXBjb5-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
