I did make after make depend for a kernel then got:
In file included from machine/signal.h:48,
                 from ../../sys/signal.h:171,
                 from ../../sys/proc.h:50,
                 from ../../vm/vm_map.c:73:
machine/trap.h:37: syntax error before `*'
In file included from ../../sys/signal.h:171,
                 from ../../sys/proc.h:50,
                 from ../../vm/vm_map.c:73:
machine/signal.h:61: syntax error before `osigset_t'
*** Error code 1

Then I did make again and got:
In file included from ../../vm/vnode_pager.c:69:
../../vm/vm_extern.h:88: syntax error before `vm_offset_t'
../../vm/vm_extern.h:88: warning: function declaration isn't a prototype
*** Error code 1

Then I did make again and got:
make: don't know how to make \. Stop
But the word "Stop" looked like asci or some wierd charicter.

Then what ever I typed in my console would be like acsi/binary etc.
I had to relogin.

Thanks,
John

with smp support I get signal 11's & or misc compiling errors like code
errors. When I boot a generic kernel which does not have smp support I can
compile a kernel.
