I tried to see if I was still getting the failure in building lang/tcl84, and the port built without any problems and ran the tests. The results of the test were: Tests ended at Sat Aug 12 11:00:20 CDT 2006 all.tcl: Total 10859 Passed 9861 Skipped 959 Failed 39 Sourced 129 Test Files. Files with failing tests: cmdAH.test fCmd.test httpold.test socket.test tcltest.test unixFCmd.test Number of tests skipped for each constraint: 7 32bit 2 95or98 4 dontCopyLinks 47 emptyTest 2 hasIsoLocale 23 knownBug 1 largefileSupport 25 localeRegexp 35 longIs32bit 126 macOnly 1 macOrWin 2 memDebug 3 memory 1 needPST 146 nonPortable 2 pc 412 pcOnly 1 testWinCPUID 30 testthread 1 testwinclock 21 testwordend 1 umask2 3 unknownFailure 2 wideIntExpressions 22 wideIntegerUnparsed 19 win 16 winOnly 5 xdev I didn't uninstall my already installed tcl84, so maybe the tests require tcl to be installed.
