Did you by chance read the docs on the cd? The details are there for doing an
upgrade
a couple differant ways.
I chose to simply do a fresh install since I don't save data files on this
particular machine,
so I had nothing to lose, and everything to gain by starting over clean. (I tend
to experiment
and try lots of differant ports, then end up not using them, leaving bits and
pieces of stuff
all over the place).
