I believe I fixed the buffer sizing with:
* 12e8addd320df995bfb2b00f51c233541f741ae4
* 6987c47569b377f4b6eba9966afdedfb1b39fca8

The MJUM9BYTES thing has been disabled for a long time
* bc408c7d61bdb1ec5df9888299a750b71054644f

Going to close this as fixed.
