Keep in mind that you can do everything you describe above through the use
of Sendmail 8.8 and procmail.  Virtual domains are very easy in sendmail
now that 8.8 is in common use (and compiles quite nicely on FreeBSD), and
the procmail man page shows how to set up a few autoresponders.

Post.Office generally has good reviews for NT--haven't heard many comments
from the BSDi/FreeBSD front, but it's quite expensive so you might want to
think about sendmail before giving up and going with Post.Office.
