		Seems like a good way of saving terabytes of
		bandwidth...   Also,  it may benefit those like
		me who use patch with lots  of fear-and-loathing.
		--patch is a neat utility and I've used|(mis-used)
		it for years.  Misused, it can screw up tons of
		source code, &c, &c.
