Could you make the reset delay a sysctl? Then the user daemon could read the kernel's delay setting and adjust its poke routine accordingly. Right now the sleep is hardcoded at 1 sec. Maybe debug.watchdog.reset and debug.watchdog.deadline or something. -Nate
