https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D210290 Bug ID: 210290 Summary: editors/libreoffice: 5 hanging - common issue across many distros/hardware Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: office@FreeBSD.org Reporter: rocky@herveybayaustralia.com.au Flags: maintainer-feedback?(office@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: office@FreeBSD.org I use libreoffice heavily with many objects and images and large amount of memory required. It loses objects content, and eventually freezes and nothi= ng can be done in the libreoffice window at all. Adjusting memory doesn't work, and is not even stable as the settings change back or won't change at all. Seems many have similar issues when dealing with large documents, and as su= ch is a bug somewhere in libreoffice 5. Rolling back to 4.3 allowed me to continue and finish the document I was working on. FIX: Need to reinstate the devel/libreoffice 4.3 port which is stable for s= ome in this critical position; at least until the next major release of say 5.1, that would be the fix for freebsd ports, upstream is dealing with the bug. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
