Normally I take care of email-related queries in -newbies or by personal mail if necessary, to avoid burdening -questions with basic skills, but he doesn't seem to be seeing anything I post to the list, probably including the weekly reposting about how to use -newbies. That makes it difficult for him to do his learning in the correct place and puts him at risk of appearing to go against list charters despite correction which he has never seen. If it's problems with a script, it probably belongs here anyway though I cannot advise him of that. Or perhaps someone using XFMail can see how it was done. He may still be using POP. Sorry, I would have obtained more details if I could. PLEASE NOTE that the context is freebsd-newbies where learners engaging in a bit of unusual behaviour is tolerated in an environment based on friendship, acceptance, and learning to learn together. The issue for -questions is purely a technical one. -----Forwarded message from Tim Gerchmez ----- Message-ID: X-Mailer: XFMail 1.2 [p0] on FreeBSD X-Priority: 3 (Normal) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Date: Tue, 30 Jun 1998 14:39:36 -0700 (PDT) Reply-To: fewtch@serv.net From: Tim Gerchmez To: freebsd-newbies@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Undesired Personal Email Rejected.
