Apparently, atleast under the Windows envi= ronment, I loose my connection integrity. After I released the IP configuration and = reset the modem (under Windows - still a Unix newbie) my boot problem in FBSD was r= esolved. I don't know why I have these persistent problems with my DCHP - I downlo= aded a patch, but it only helped marginally. If anybody knows where I can obtain= additional information, I would appreciate your help.
