I have a number of terminals connected to a multi-i/o serial card using a FreeBSD box as a termserver over the Internet (PPP dialup), connecting to a dedicated server also on the Internet. The problem I have is slight delay in the characters being displayed on the terminal screen. Can anyone tell me how I could improve a response time? Would changing the MTU for PPP to a lower value than 1500 improve things? Thanks Greg To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
