It would be easier to re-install FreeBSD, if easy is defined as the path requiring the least thought. :-) Have a look at _why_ your root partition is filling up. Perhaps you can move some of the stuff onto the new device, or just clean up? your clean-up will probably begin with this command du -skx / See the du(1) manpage for more details. Ciao, Sheldon.
