https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=201964 Bug ID: 201964 Summary: security/py-paramiko: hangs duplicity ssh backend Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: sbz@FreeBSD.org Reporter: sascha@root-login.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(sbz@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: sbz@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 159359 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=159359&action=edit patch file Every version of this since 1.10.1 renders the duplicity ssh backend useless. The ssh session hangs forever and eventually times out without transmitting anything. The bug is quite old now: https://github.com/paramiko/paramiko/issues/331 The attached patch "fixes" this. Actually I do not think it is a proper patch but upstream seems to ignore the problem so meanwhile it would be better to have a working software. The workaround is from this comment: https://github.com/paramiko/paramiko/issues/331#issuecomment-64129801 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
