Hi, q1: was this the same binary kernel for all 3 tests? please send me the COMPLETE output of "mptable -dmesg" for all 3 cases, especially the de0 case. something is definately wrong in the PCI card recognition area, In the ed2 + de0 case the de0 (only) is recognized as being on the APIC, and it works. for all others the PCI cards are NOT recognized as being attached to the APIC, and fail (as would be expected). Scratch your head, has anything changed in the system recently , BIOS configuration, new or replacement cards, ??? So far no one else has reported similar problems, I have 1 de0 card in my test system, no other network cards, and it works fine, so I'm really puzzled by this one! -- Steve Passe | powered by smp@csn.net | Symmetric MultiProcessor FreeBSD
