Hi!

I just noticed that it is my default route that is changing for the aforeme=
ntioned in the subject IP address. What the "$?% could cause that? Could MP=
D push that route as default? For what reason? That IP address doesn't even=
 belong to us.

Have you tried common debugging sequence when internet connectivity breaks:
tcpdumping, looking at ARP table, route table, etc?
