 The (rather extensive) "tutorial" you are looking for is found in=20
 Chap. XIX of the handbook, which chapter, as well as the entire=20
 handbook, is also available online at=20
 http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/cutting-edge.html=20
 
 As is avalaible free extensive help on the part of FreeBSD users :-)
 
 By the way, the handbook is mentioned at=20

 Somebody (with commit power) might probably specify the correct link=20
 in UPGRADE.TXT before FreeBSD-4.3 is out ? =09
