Thank you for your replies, but... I did install the java-1.1.8 and the jsdk. The file /usr/local/share/java/classes/jsdk.jar does exist (it apparently doesn't contain the class javax.servlet.Servlet !?!). > checking JSDK... configure: error: javax.servlet.Servlet not found in /usr/local/share/java/classes/jsdk.jar > ===> Script "configure" failed: here are the contents of "config.log" Any other ideas?
