An external TA is like any other serial modem and you don't need isdn support on FreeBSD kernel. You have to use user-ppp (man ppp). For configuration hints on user-ppp multilink support, look at: http://www.es.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/share/examples/ppp/ppp.conf.sa= mple?rev=3D1.17 At the end of this file there is a section begining: "# Multilink mode is available (rfc1990).".
