That has come up a few times, see - https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=207750 When trying to load libgfortran the system installed libgcc_s is found first (it has most likely already been loaded by another lib) and used, but as it is built against an older version of gcc it fails to support the needs of the newer libgfortran. The work around is to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point to the current gcc lib folder so that the newer libgcc_s is always found and used. This can be done by creating a script that sets LD_LIBRARY_PATH and then runs the script.
