The adapter is detected, and given its = device node (aue0), but the interface reports "no carrier". I know the = cabling is good, and the adapter is good - because it works in other = operating systems. It appears from reading the lists that this adapter = has worked in the past on FreeBSD 4.x kernels, so it appears to have = been a recently introduced problem. Note, I can ifconfig the interface, but the media options don't appear = to do anything (I still don't get a link light). However, I noticed that = the link light on this adapter doesn't mean much, as it works in Windows = but doesn't work in linux (the light, not the adapter).
