Guys wasn't sure who to send this to but the following entry in pccard.conf enables the onboard wireless in the portege and tecra series of notebook that Toshiba just bought out... # Toshibas wireless lan card card "TOSHIBA" "Wireless LAN Card" config auto "wi" ? insert /etc/pccard_ether $device start remove /etc/pccard_ether $device stop This then gives the following message on pccard start. Nov 12 18:12:43 xyzzy pccardd[93]: Card "TOSHIBA"("Wireless LAN Card") [Version 01.01] [] matched "TOSHIBA" ("Wireless LAN Card") [(null)] [(null)] Nov 12 18:12:48 xyzzy /kernel: wi0: <WaveLAN/IEEE 802.11> at port 0x240-0x27f ir q 11 slot 0 on pccard0 Nov 12 18:12:48 xyzzy /kernel: wi0: Ethernet address: 00:02:2d:24:ec:d6 Nov 12 18:12:48 xyzzy pccardd[93]: wi0: TOSHIBA (Wireless LAN Card) inserted. I unfortunately don't have a wireless access point at work as yet so am unable to test things but it seems like it should work fine.
