And Joy worked on BSD *how* long ago -- fifteen years ago or so? I look at some of the books I did back in 1992 and think "You know, if I knew then what I know now..." I can't bear to look at my work from 1986. It's actively painful. In 2011, I fully expect to look back on the BSD book I'm writing now and say, "Oh, how ignorant and clumsy I was then..." I think that if someone can't say the same thing, they aren't growing.
