Compaq and Microsoft have both dropped NT support, save old NT4 customers. The upgrade on NT you get is another service pack, which just fixes (and as usual, creates) bugs. You should probably keep NT on x86 (PowerPC support was dropped too), and the rest Mac/Unix if possible.
