Problem: i need to use an internal PCI modem, 56k. I found USR (NO winmodem) pci 56k but it were not right detect by freebsd. test# uname -rs FreeBSD 5.2-RC1 I add all his id in: src/sys/dev/puc/pucdata.c src/sys/dev/sio/sio_pci.c src/sys/dev/uart/uart_bus_pci.c copying and modifing existing similar USR modem pci. Now it's detect as: puc0@pci0:20:0: class=0x078000 card=0x00c412b9 chip=0x100712b9 rev=0x00 hdr=0x00 vendor = '3COM Corp, Modem Division (Formerly US Robotics)' device = 'ERL3263A-0 USR 56k Internal DF GWPCI PC99' class = simple comms It has not a subclass UART, so i have not a cuaa*. Any ideas? Verbose dmesg: http://moto.bmm.it/dmesg Thanks -- Cristiano Deana - FreeCRIS "Ho iniziato a usare FreeBSD perche' m$ usava me. ed e' spiacevole" in irc su: irc.azzurra.org #freebsd-it
