I've noticed relatively recently (I hadn't used promiscuous mode on
this machine for a while before that) if I put the wavelan interface
on my laptop into promiscuous mode I stop seeing any network traffic
shortly afterwards and it doesn't stop until I remove/reinsert the
pcmcia card.

Killing the program and returning to non-promiscuous doesn't help.

Anyone else seen this ?
