Trying to switch from syslogd to nsyslogd on a FreeBSD 4.1-STABLE box (current as of about a week ago), and here's what I get: everything compiles fine, I can start the daemon and it correctly reads in the legacy syslog.conf, but nothing gets logged after that. I tried using logger, but nothing came through. The only message in the log from nsyslogd is: Aug 22 17:13:32 ns1 unknown facility name "security" Any thoughts?
