Thanks. I was thinking about that and found an answer also in the source code (geom_kern.c): SYSCTL_NODE(_kern, OID_AUTO, geom, CTLFLAG_RW, 0, "GEOMetry management"); Anybody has a clue also for the meaning of geli?
