If you are running the OpenLook window manager, put the following in
you .Xdefaults:

	OpenWindows.FocusLenience:      True

And restart everything (easier than me remotely diagnosing what types of
resource management you might be using and giving you the IF-THEN branch
for dealing with all of them).
