Well, as far as i know (
feel free to correct me), bsd and linux
are the same command-wise, but the core kernel and other
stuff is   majorly different.
there is a Linux compat mode for freebsd but i don't know how good it works.
as i said, feel free to correct me, since i'm new and mostly a linux user.
