Will someone please explain what this ambiguous message means:

root# swapon -a
swapon: /dev/da3s1b: Invalid argument
swapon: /dev/da5s1b: Invalid argument

That error isn't even in swapon.c under /usr/src/sbin/swapon.  This is
FreeBSD-3.3-STABLE, just built today.    It refuses to use swap on
the external array.   No matches on a search on www.freebsd.org, nothing.
