Wrt. the inability to autodetect, regardless of which controller the 2.1G drive is connected to, the BIOS fails to autodetect. > Do you have the master/slave jumper set correctly? The drive is being used under Linux with it connected to the second controller, with file systems mounted on several logical partitions within the extended partition on the drive. So Linux is necessarily handling all three drives and both controllers correctly. From this, I conclude that I do not have hardware problems - aside from the BIOS autodetect problem. In addition, I've run PFDISK from DOS, and it finds the correct drives on the c orrect controllers.
