The gdm user and group are setup when you install gdm.  By default, gdm
uses uid and gid 92.  GDM is started out of /usr/X11R6/etc/rc.d/gdm.sh.=20
Checkout the /usr/ports/x11/gdm2/pkg-message for more details.
