bourne.identity@hotmail.com <bourne.identity@hotmail.com> has reassigned Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org>'s request for maintainer-feedbac= k to x11@FreeBSD.org: Bug 212178: x11/xconsole has no output https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D212178 --- Description --- As root, I chmod'ed a+r and a+w for /dev/console As normal user, I then ran 'xconsole -file /dev/console' In theory, my xconsole window should now be grepping the console messages. But when I switch on/off my USB scanner/printer, no output appears in the xconsole window.
