 That patch is for the if_rl driver and 4.x. This problem is specific to the
 if_re driver that appeared in 5.x-CURRENT after Bill Paul split the
 functionality for the RT8139C+ from if_rl out into if_re.
 
 My mailer was misconfigured and was sending with the wrong address in the from field.
