I have personally had problems with IE6 on Win2k with the IPv6 preview
code loaded. IE6 on WinXP works. IE5.5 on Win2k with IPv6 code loaded
works. After digging into the differences, I found that the IE6 install
on Win2k with IPv6 was overwriting some of the files. I tried reapplying
the IPv6 code afterwards but had no luck. I sent notes to Microsoft, who
replied, but they never provided an answer. I finally just went to WinXP
for my use.
