I am not sure how to fix this problem. I followed the manual step for step on using ppp for dial up networking. I dial up using ppp...term...ATDT then the number. I log into the sever, and it appears that it was successful. But, when I try to run any applications like telnet or ftp, it says host name lookup failure. I Did what the manual said to do to the resolv.conf file, including the addresses of the nameservers, what should I do? Scott Tate sctate@vt.edu Virginia Tech
