Is there a BSD driver for Broadcom Crystal HD video decoder?
Realitively inexpensive and low power, FLOSS driver for Linux.

If you are willing to deal with binary-only, there is
Cubieboard and RaspberryPi, I'm not sure how far along these
are BSD-wise.

FLOSS-friendly hardware is in the works, but not ready yet.
Additional engineering talent and money would help.
