Although the panics have been happening for quite some time, it took a long time for any physical symptoms to show up. They just started leaking. While this may be bad news, I am ecstatic that I finally know which part to replace. :) This panic was probably due to the hardware. This bug may be closed, but I am still curious as to why the fix I mentioned in the bug was pulled out of STABLE while still existing in CURRENT. Sean
